Walking Tour Historic Downtown Seward Alaska

Located just 3 miles north of our beautiful waterfront cabins and rooms, downtown Seward is filled with lots of history dating back to the early 1900s. Be sure to give yourself time to experience some heavenly relaxation in our very special cabins, some of the best lodging Seward has to offer, with spectacular wildlife and beautiful scenery surrounding them, just south of Seward, Alaska, on the shores of Resurrection Bay, on the Kenai Peninsula.

The Seward Visitor’s Guide, distributed by the local newspaper, contains a guided walk of the downtown area, filled with historic buildings and homes dating back to the very early 1900s. The local history is very interesting! Walk down “millionaire’s row!” ¬†Many visitors enjoy walking the docks in the Small Boat Harbor. ¬†Walk around both Seward and Lowell Point to see Paul’s Silhouette Shingles.
